Suggest a Calculator

What would make everyday life easier to calculate? Share an idea for a new calculator or tell us how an existing tool could work better for you.

Check our existing tools first—you may find the calculator you need.

Your idea starts here

Tell Us What You’d Like to Calculate

A simple description is enough. Tell us the problem you want to solve and what a helpful result would look like.

How to send your idea: fill in the details, copy your suggestion, then open our Contact page and paste it into your message. This form prepares your text; it does not send it.

For example: estimate the total cost of holiday activities for a family.
Make your idea easy to understand

What Makes a Helpful Suggestion?

You don’t need a formula or technical knowledge. These three details help explain how your calculator would be useful.

A Clear Everyday Question

Describe the decision or task you want help with. A specific question, such as “How much should I budget for school holiday activities?”, gives your idea a clear purpose.

The Details You Would Enter

List the information you would have available, such as amounts, dates, distances or quantities. Mention preferred units or a country if these affect the calculation.

A Result You Could Use

Explain what you would like to see: a total, a comparison, a target or a breakdown. Tell us how that result would help you plan, understand or decide.

Example suggestion

School Holiday Activity Budget Calculator

“I’d like to estimate the cost of school holiday activities for my family. I would enter the number of children, the cost per child for each activity, and any shared transport or food costs. The calculator would show the total cost and compare it with my available budget.”

Already using one of our tools? You can also suggest an improvement. Include the calculator name or page link and describe the feature you would like added. For a calculation error or broken feature, use our Report a Problem page.

From idea to useful tool

What Happens Next?

Suggestions help guide future tools and improvements. Here’s what we consider when deciding whether an idea is a good fit for Everything Calculated.

Consideration 01

Usefulness & Existing Tools

Does the idea solve a clear problem? We consider whether it would help visitors and whether an existing calculator already answers the question or could be improved.

Consideration 02

A Reliable Calculation

Can the result be calculated from the information visitors provide? We consider the method, necessary assumptions and limitations, and whether the result can be explained clearly.

Consideration 03

Fit & Feasibility

We consider how the tool fits the site, the work needed to build and maintain it, and other planned improvements. Some ideas may suit an update to an existing tool.

A Suggestion Is Not a Build Guarantee

Sending an idea does not guarantee that it will be built, a personal reply, or a completion date. You don’t need to send the same suggestion repeatedly. If you provide contact details through the Contact page, we may get in touch if clarification is needed.

Before you share your idea

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about suggesting a new calculator or improving one you already use.

How do I send my calculator suggestion?

Complete the suggestion form above, select “Copy My Suggestion”, then select “Open Contact Page”. The Contact page opens in a new tab. Paste your suggestion into its message field and send it there. Copying your suggestion does not submit it.

Do I need to know the formula?

No. Describe what you want to calculate, the information you would enter and the result you would find useful. If you know a relevant formula or reliable source, you can include it, but it is not required.

Can I suggest an improvement to an existing calculator?

Yes. Include the calculator name or page link and describe the improvement you would like, such as another unit option, a clearer explanation or a more useful result breakdown.

Can I suggest a tool for my country or preferred units?

Yes. Mention the country, currency or units that matter to your idea. If the calculation depends on local rules or changing information, include a relevant official source if you have one.

Will every suggested calculator be built?

No. Suggestions are considered for usefulness, calculation reliability, fit with the site and the work needed to build and maintain the tool. Sending an idea does not guarantee a new calculator or a completion date.

Will I receive a personal reply?

A personal reply is not guaranteed. If you provide contact details through the Contact page, we may get in touch if we need clarification about your idea.

Where should I report an incorrect result or a broken tool?

Use the Report a Problem page. Include the calculator link, the inputs and units you used, the result you received and what you expected. Keep examples general and avoid sharing private information.
