Calculator issues
Buttons that do not respond, inputs that do not work, missing results, or a calculation that appears incorrect.
Page and link problems
Broken links, missing pages, overlapping text, or a layout that is difficult to use on your device.
Content corrections
Unclear explanations, incorrect units, spelling mistakes, or information that may need updating.
What to include in your report
Use the Contact page and start your message with “Problem report”. Include as much of the following as you can:
- Page or calculator: the name and full page URL.
- What happened: the steps you followed and the problem you noticed.
- Inputs and units: example values, selected options, and whether you used metric or imperial units.
- Actual and expected results: what the tool showed and what you expected. If you compared it with another source, include that source and its assumptions.
- Device and browser: for example, iPhone with Safari or Windows laptop with Chrome.
- Screenshot, if available: include one if the Contact page supports attachments. Otherwise describe any error message exactly.
Protect your privacy: use example values where possible. Do not include passwords, bank details, identification documents, or sensitive medical information. Remove personal details from screenshots.

Before you send a report
Should I try anything before reporting a calculator problem?
First note your inputs or take a screenshot. Then check the units and required fields, and try resetting the calculator or refreshing the page. If the issue continues, tell us the steps that caused it.
Why might two calculators give different results?
Different tools may use different assumptions, rounding rules, dates, or calculation methods. Check the explanation on the calculator page and our Methodology page. If the difference still seems wrong, include both results and the inputs used.
Can I request a new calculator here?
For a new tool idea, use our Suggest a Calculator page. For an existing tool that is not working correctly, use the Contact page to report the problem.
Can I report a problem without a screenshot?
Yes. The page link, example inputs, and a clear description of what happened are useful on their own. Include the exact wording of any error message you saw.
Does reporting a problem guarantee an immediate fix?
No. A report helps us identify issues, but some problems need further investigation. We cannot guarantee an immediate fix or a specific response time.
